Something to Look Forward To: NCL Spirit Week Is Coming
The spring season with the NCL is just getting started, and competitors across the community are already diving into challenges, building new skills, and pushing themselves to grow as cybersecurity professionals.
While the competition is only beginning, there is already something exciting to look forward to at the end of the season. During the week of April 27, NCL will host NCL Spirit Week, a special series of community events designed to celebrate the season while helping participants take meaningful steps toward future cybersecurity careers.
Spirit Week will feature a lineup of engaging, career-focused events where students, educators, and aspiring professionals can hear directly from people working in the field, discover practical advice for breaking into cybersecurity, and learn strategies that can give them an edge as they prepare for internships, jobs, and future competitions. These sessions are designed to be approachable, interactive, and full of real-world insights you won’t typically find in a classroom.
Whether you’re just beginning your cybersecurity journey or already competing in NCL challenges, Spirit Week will offer a chance to connect with the broader community, learn from experienced professionals, and gain valuable perspective on what it takes to succeed in the industry.
More information including event descriptions, times, and registration links, will be shared soon through NCL email communications and social media. All events will be open to the public, and community members are encouraged to invite classmates, colleagues, and friends who are interested in cybersecurity.
As you jump into the Spring season, keep an eye out for Spirit Week. It will be a fun, welcoming way to celebrate the competition while gaining insights that can help shape your path toward a future in cybersecurity!
